Invitation to BoHs Conference and Youth Obesity Prevention Summit

With pride, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the March 2012 Board on Human Sciences Conference and Youth Obesity Prevention Summit. BoHS members have worked diligently to plan one of the most exciting and relevant programs in many years. Outstanding speakers will inform and inspire members and their guests. We begin on Wednesday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. with the opening session of the Youth Obesity Prevention Summit and conclude on Friday at 12:00 noon. Details regarding the schedule are on the new BoHS web site at www.thebohs.org.  Please share the invitation with colleagues, associate and assistant deans, department heads and faculty.

The conference will be hosted at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, near Washington National Airport. There is complimentary van transportation to and from the hotel and it is located near a Metro station so transportation is convenient and inexpensive.

If you prefer, you may wish to register just for the Youth Obesity Prevention Summit. We are encouraging collaborators in Family and Consumer Sciences Extension, the Family and Consumer Sciences Alliance, youth development and 4-H, public health and related fields to join us. Space is limited, so register early!

There is a separate link if your interest in only in the Youth Obesity Prevention Summit. Register early for the "Summit" since space for the conference and hotel is limited.

  5. Invite campus and professional colleagues to attend the BoHS Spring Conference, Youth Obesity Prevention Summit or both.
